Lebron has been a candidate for the greatest NBA player of all-time, for quite some time now. It has been controversial but legitimate arguments can be made for both sides.
The NBA's lockdown has potentially taken a ring away from Lebron as the Lakers were very much in the title hunt. Lebron has to feel like this is the worst timing ever for a lockdown. Lebron's age makes every season a must especially after he already had to sit out most of last season.
Some people may feel as though the Lakers will come back next season and pick up where they left off but nothing is guaranteed. They may not be as healthy are they now, other teams maybe just a little bit better next season. This was definitely more of a blow to Lebron more than any other player in the league.
I normally agree with Lebron on most topics but Lebron is wrong on this one. He a paid athlete that is obligated to pay for the L.A Lakers. His political views and thoughts on the coronavirus aside, Lebron contractually obligated to play ball. I defended Lebron when FOX News host Laura Ingram told him to shut up and dribble but this time he is so wrong and he also sets a bad example for his teammates.
If the coronavirus causes the team to have to play in an empty arena then so be it. Crowd or no crowd, the game goes on. Keep in mind some people still want to watch the games at home. The NBA makes a lot of money from advertisements. A big chunk of that paycheck that Lebron receives is made possible because of advertisement money. So I feel like if he doesn’t want to play than the owners should not have to pay.
TNT extends AEW's contract. WWE marks are hating but it's what's best for buisness. Hopefully this causes WWE to step its game up now that they have legit competition since the late 90's. AEW has exceeded expectations. Not bad what HHH called a piss ant T-shirt wrestling promotion.
