It seems like every week, if not every day, there is new CM Punk returns rumor. If CM Punk even looks at a wrestling post or tweets about it, the wrestling community goes ape shit and bloggers, youtubers and podcasters start the CM Punk is returning to wrestling news cycle. Some it is does just to get views but this time, the rumors have a little more validity.
AEW has been open wanting to sign CM Punk and I can't blame them. Everyone remembers how Punk left WWE in a bridge burning fashion.
AEW has a lot of money and have been trending every since Double or Nothing, followed by the announcement of AEW becoming a weekly show on TNT.
The thing that makes the CM Punk rumors legit is that Punk actually showed up at Milwaukee wrestling promotion with a mask on, giving the GTS to one there wrestlers. This proves that CM Punk is still somewhat involved with wrestling.
Finally, the next AEW pay-per-view event "All Out" will be in Chicago, which is CM Punk's home town. Coincidentally, "All Out" is the final pay-per-view that AEW will be hosting just before the launch of their weekly wrestling show that will be airing on TNT. What better way for CM Punk to get revenge on the WWE, than to make an appearance at All Out and sign with AEW.
The timing is too perfect and that makes me think, maybe, just maybe, we this is too good of an opportunity for CM Punk to pass up.
It would be a huge mistake for Khawi Leonard to sign with anyone else but Toronto. The rumors of Khawi signing with the Clippers is just onsurd. The Clippers organization is nothing but a little brother to the big brother L.A Lakers.
The Clippers are not even a major player to contend for the NBA Finals. Khawi has already turned the Raptors into champions and no matter what he does for the rest of his time in Toronto, Khawi will always be remembered as the man that brought Toronto their first and only title. To pick up and leave a situation like that would just be stupid.
Toronto has young players that are capable of taking the Raptors to back to back championships. No to mention the Raptors have veteran players to compliment those young gunners.
To sum it up, the Raptors have a perfect balance that most teams just don't have.
Khawi just simply has to think about what's best for him at this point and what's best for him is staying in Toronto and retiring as a Raptor. Khawi Leonards legacy will always be centered around what he just did in Toronto and should play a big a part in his decision making.
Ok, to be critical first, I don't know of Jim Jones writes his own songs. I know that in the past, "Max B" supposedly wrote for Jim Jones. Criticism aside, Jim Jones dropped a good album last year titled "Wasted Talent". Jim Jones latest album " El Capo" is even better than his last one.
I can be tough when grading rap music but I must say "El Capo" is one the few albums I could listen to from beginning to end with no skipping. The last album I was able to say that about was the Styles P and Dave East collab.
El Capo has an old school feel to it and grown man approach. The little boy shit is not in this album. I first heard about the album while listening to the Joe Budden Podcast. Budden gave the album high reviews, I immediately went to Spotify and to see if Budden was right. I was not disappointed. I'm telling you right now if you are a fan of real Hip-Hop, this album is a must in your playlist.
Anthony Joshua loses to Ruiz and the boxing world is going crazy. In what has been a strange turn of events, AJ’s loss has every boxing fan questioning everything about everything. Many boxing fans believed Joshua was the best Heavyweight in the world and Deontay Wilder was supposedly ducking him. Now they have to wonder if Joshua even belongs in the same ring as Wilder.
The way Joshua was beaten makes matters even worse. He wasn’t KO’d he was simply outboxed by Ruiz, a last-minute replacement who many have made fun for not looking like an in shape boxer. To make matters worse is all of the trash talking that has been going on by UK boxing fans who have claimed Deontay Wilder has been ducking Joshua, now have egg on their face. How can anyone justify Joshua being the man that should dictate who will get the bigger payday against Wilder when he can’t even beat Ruiz?
This upset has to be up there with some of the biggest upsets in boxing history. Buster Douglas vs. Tyson, Lennox Lewis vs. Rahman is what comes to mind. Only time will tell if Joshua can recoup from this and bounce back. With all that said, Joshua has already mentioned a possible rematch at the end of the year. Until then Joshua and the entire UK will be hearing a lot of trash talking coming from the USA. American boxing fans are not soon to forget the insult that was thrown towards Wilder from the UK. Wilder was called an American coward, and they replaced his catchy “BombSquad” slogan with the term “DuckSquad” insinuating that Wilder was ducking Joshua who was supposedly the better fighter with more championships and that Wilder should play by the terms laid out by Joshua in order to set up a fight.
That’s all over now. Now, we have to see if Ruiz is the real deal or not. We have to see if Joshua’s loss was just a fluke. We have to see if the Heavyweight division is Deontay Wilder’s division to rule.
