I just want to staying RIP Angela Valdez.
Secondly, why the hell did they change the damn theme music? That shit absolutely sucks now. I don't like the new song at all!!! Okay, the first thing that happens we find out Angela is dead. Immediately I'm pissed off because Angie was my favorite charter in the whole damn show. Then to make matters worse Ghost sneaks up on Tommy inside of his house and they have this weak ass fight that is eventually ceased by Tarik. I don't know how other people may feel but to me that fight scene with Ghost and Tommy was wack. Tommy gets Keisha to toss the gun he used to kill Angela in the river. Keisha did not use gloves when she touched the gun so I'm sure we will be seeing her name in brought into the investigation concerning the murder of Angela Valdez. Tasha lets Ghost know she wants a divorce. Who couldn't see that coming? The divorce should have happened like 3 seasons ago. Tasha also is still in search of Terry Silver. Tasha doesn't know that Ghost killed Terry so Tasha is calling him back to back trying to contact him. There are rumors that Terry might still be alive but I highly doubt it. The main scene of the whole show was Ghost shooting up Tommy's car. Now I have to admit, as bad as this episode was for me, this scene was crazy AF! As turns out Tommy's boss stole Tommy's keys and had one of his men driving the car so when Ghost sprayed it with bullets he killed someone else and not Tommy. Tarik seems as if he is probably gonna end up helping Tommy kill Ghost but you never know with Tarik. We have seen Tarik fake like he is going against Ghost while siding with Kanan but then he turned Kanan. Overall I give this episode POWER a letter grade of C. To be fair a lot of my disdain for this episode is due to the fact that I hate the new intro music and I'm mad that Anglea is dead. Angie was the centerpiece in this whole story, everything revolved around her. Now that she is gone the show feels empty. 50 Cent announced season 6 will be the last for the hit show Power. It will be a 15 episode finale and 50 promised us a spinoff. Looking back on the series, Power became much bigger than what some people expected. Power even managed to withstand the pressure that was put on it from season to season which is not an easy thing to do. Most T.V shows die out around the 3rd season but Power managed to keep fans coming back for more and keep new viewers coming. Often Power was compared to FOX'S EMPIRE, which was also a hit but did not quite connect with the Urban Community the way POWER did. |
